- It's a specific school - here is more important than the presence of acting skills and their ability to express, not to catch, when you look professors, directors, senior students (the inhabitants of heaven for us students!), And to convince all that you need to take it. At the end of the 1980s, competition in the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (LGITMiK) was crazy.
On the first attempt was not received, I cried ... and not to lose time, filed documents to the Institute of Culture in the specialty "Directing drama." And then I finally luck smiled admitted without examination, having only a creative contest.
- But you LGITMiK managed to finish in parallel ...
- Yes, after the third year of the Institute of Culture entered the Theatre Academy (former LGITMiK), as the dream of becoming an actress not disappeared. As a result, two years studying in two universities. It was not easy, but there was also a plus - just received two scholarships.

- Then with the work of an artist was not easy: the distribution was canceled, the capital of the troupe are staffed by state ...
- I have a problem with it was not: after graduation took the St. Petersburg Theater "Comedians". And immediately I entered the repertoire - a finished performance "Wolves and Sheep" by Ostrovsky. In addition, two vaudeville released children's performance. That is, there was a kind of repertoire. Therefore, when a year was offered a job in the Czech Republic, which was to leave. She took a month delay, to not let anyone in the theater, and then still decided to go abroad.
- Said the difficulty in material terms? Suffice it to recall how difficult was for many mid-1990s ...
- Material factor only in part. I would like to develop further, and work on radio and television were initially seen as an opportunity a few years to move to Moscow to get into the company of some of the capital of theater and grow professionally. There are in fact needed to make a living. This was a kind of detour: via Prague to Moscow.
But man proposes and God disposes: worked in Prague for about four years, and there is even becoming the first Russian TV presenter (though in Czech), returned to St. Petersburg - I was invited to a major role in the series "Black Raven", which became a landmark in creative biography. Then this all was not yet: an exciting 64-episode reel of film on the brink of mystery and detective. We felt like pioneers! For me, this show means a lot. In particular, it has allowed me a few years to work without a salary in the "Little Drama Theatre" (it became public only in 2009).
Then there were other important for me to work in film: 24-part film Dmitry Meshieva "Lines of Fate," "Sisters" by Anton Sievers, "Sisters" by Sergei Bodrov Jr. - glad I had the opportunity to work with him. He then started, and I think that if not for a terrible tragedy in the mountains, would have grown into a wonderful director. The artist Sergei was from God!
