- This is a serious event, - said the director of secondary schools number 49 Yuri Gugina. - We've been ready for it. The children read books about the exploits of our soldiers, wrote essays, we have a manuscript book, dedicated to the events of those years. Traditions are preserved and will continue in an educational institution. We now need to show the true picture of the war, the true winner of the Great Patriotic War, to the student for this was not only a historical note or a page in a textbook. That every child really knew who won.
With tears in his eyes veterans took so dear to them a reward - a sign of respect and deepest gratitude from different generations of Russians.
- For me it is a feeling experienced past - admitted Nina Duplitskaya. In 1941, she lived with her parents in the Ryazan region. - I was not at the front, because I had just turned 13 years old. But all of us - women and children - toiled day and night, worked to win. It was very hard, we were starving. On the day issued just 150 grams of bread. And yet we have survived because they were strong in one breath. As time went on, I grew older and was sure that, when seventeen, I also went to fight. But suddenly it is welcome news for us that the war is over. It was the greatest happiness.
VIP guests guys prepared literary and musical composition "Maybe there was no war," won first place at one of the city festivals devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Victory.
